SBI Clerk 2018 Recruitment is announced on April, 2018, but this Recruitment comes with many surprises. Firstly, the No. of vacancies is awesome. Third Surprise came with SBI Clerk Exam Pattern. Earlier, there was a Single Written Exam in SBI, but Now, there will be two Exams viz Prelims and Mains Exam, just like as we have for IBPS Exams. Fourth surprise is regarding the Interviews. The Govt of India, had already, abolished the Interviews for Clerical posts since Jan, 2017 , but SBI in its Notification, had requested the Government to let them conduct the Interviews for these posts, but the approval is still pending with the Govt . of India.

SBI Clerk Prelims 2018 : Know Everything.
First and foremost thing that you should know, is that that SBI Clerk Prelims Exams is only a Screening test and the marks obtained in this Exam, will have no weightage in the Final Merit. This exam will act as only Qualifying Exam for MAIN Exam.
- All those applicants, who apply for SBI Clerk Exam, will have to appear for the Prelims Exam at the specified Date, time and Venue
- Those who qualify the Prelims Exams, will be called for the MAINS Exam, the No. of Candidates to be called for the MAINS Exam is 20 Times the No. of Vacancies. Suppose for 10726 Jr. Associate vacancies, the no. of candidates to be called for MAINS Exam is 214520.
- Those who qualify the SBI MAINS Exams, will be called for the Interview (Subject to approval of Govt of India). The No. of candidates to be called for Interview stage is 1:3 times the No. of vacancies.
When SBI will conduct the Prelims Exam ?
As per the SBI Clerk Notification, the Prelims Exam is tentatively scheduled in the month of May /June 2018. The Exact dates are yet to be announced and more likely be known, when the SBI Clerk 2018 Admit Cards will be released.
