State Bank of India Probationary Officer 2018 Exam Pattern:- State Bank of India Probationary Officer is of 3 Phases:-
1) GD(Group Discussion & Interview)
2) Preliminary Examination
3) Written test
1 PHASE :- Preliminary Exam consisting of objective test for hundred score will be conducted online. This exam would be of 1hrs duration consisting of three sections are given below:-

2 PHASE:-
Main exam will consist of objective tests for two hundred marks & Descriptive test for Fifty marks. Both the Descriptive & objective tests will be online.
The he applicants are required to qualify in the descriptive exam by securing passing score, to be decided by the state bank of india (sbi)..
1) Descriptive Test:- The Descriptive Test of 30 min duration with 50 score will be a exam of English Language(Essay and Letter writing). The Applicants are required to qualify in the descriptive exam by securing passing score, to be decided by the state bank of india (sbi)..
2) Objective Test:- The Objective Test of 3 hrs duration consists of four sections are given below.

3)PHASE:- Interview (30 MARKS) and Group Discussion(GD)(20 MARKS)
The aggregate marks of applicants qualifying in both the Descriptive Test and Objective Test will be arranged in descending order in each categories. Adequate no. of applicants in each category, as decided by the state bank of india will be called for interview and Group Discussion(GD). The qualifying score in interview and Group Discussion(GD) will be as decided by the (SBI).
Final Selection Process:-
The scores obtained in the Preliminary Examination(1-PHASE) will not be provided for the selection process & only the scores obtained in main exam(2-PHASE) will be provided to the score obtained in Interview and Group Discussion(GD)(3-Phase)for preparation of the final merit list.
The Applicants will have to qualify both in 2 or 3 phase separately. Scores secured by the applicants in the written test(out of 250 scores) are converted to out of 75 & score secured to out 25. The final Selection merit list is arrived at after aggregated converted scores of written exam & interview and Group Discussion(GD) out of 100 for each category. The selection process will be made from the top merit marks applicants in each categories.
