Appearing for SBI Clerk Exam 2018 ? Know the SBI Clerk Cut off 2017 and for Previous years
It is expected that we may see a change in the SBI Clerk Exam 2018 Pattern, as the there will be Interviews for the SBI Clerk Exam however the SBI Clerk Syllabus will remain the same. If, you remember, the decision to abolish Interview for Jr. Level posts was taken by Shri Narender Modi during the Independence day speech and same came into effect from Jan, 2018.
Additionally, the bank may include any other test in place of Interviews, Or Going by the IBPS Clerk Pattern, SBI may conduct the Stage-1 as Prelims Exam and those who qualify the Prelims, will then have to appear for Mains for the SBI Clerk Exam. However, this is only a prediction and picture will be clear, only after the Official Notification will be announced.
But one, thing is clear, that with the abolishment of Interviews, the Cut offs will be very high, as there will be No 20% marks weightage for Interviews and 100% weightage will be given to marks obtained in the Written Exam.

First will be Cut off for Main Exams, that will be announced after the announcement of SBI Prelims Result and 2nd will be Selection List cut off, that will be announced after the announcement of SBI Mains Result.
2) As the SBI Clerk Recruitment is conducted state wise, ie you can apply for vacancies for One State Only, and as such the Cut off will be State wise only.
3) Cut off are prepared as per category of candidates ie there is separate cut off for each category
4) The deciding factors for Cut off are given as

- No. of vacancies
- Exam difficulty Level
- Marking Scheme

- Gen: 145 Marks
- SC: 131

What would be the SBI Cut Off in 2018 ?
Well it seems almost impossible to predict the cut off before the announcement of Clerk Notification, but one thing is sure, Cut off would be at higher side in 2018, as only Written Exam will be the deciding factor for your selection.
