Who can appear in the SBI Clerk Exam ?


You need to full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions to appear in the exam . 

Nationality: Indian citizen 

Age limit: 20-28 years (Age Relaxation as per the Rules)

Qualification: Any graduate/post graduate/doctorate or equivalent (any stream) from a recognized university. However, the Minimum Qualification is Graduation only.

Pay band: Basic Pay of a clerk will be Rs.18100 – 19800 including all allowances 
(Rs20000). This is Rs 2000 more than all other banks in India.


Selection Process : Prior to Dec, 2017, the Selection process for Clerks in SBI, comprises of Written exam (Objective type) and Interview, but following the Government's decision to end Interview for Clerk posts, SBI Clerk 2018 Selection Process , may comprises of Written exam only, but exact details, will be know only after the announcement of Notification. 

However, If SBI goes, by the Selection criteria, as adopted by IBPS, then it would be as follows.

a) Preliminary Examination: Those, who apply for Clerk Exam will first have to go through the Prelims Exam. The Prelims Exam, will be 100 marks only and have Duration of only 60 minutes 

b) Main examination: Those who Qualify the Prelims exam, will have to appear for MAINS Exam. 
The Syllabus for MAIN Exam will be similar to previous SBI Clerk Syllabus

Note: No personal interview: From the fiscal year 2017-18, and onwards there will be no personal interviews conducted for the clerk and equivalent posts.

As, there is No Interview, so there is expectation, that SBI Clerk Cut off may high , as the 100% weitghtage will be given to Written exam.

• Career with us : if you are using pc/laptop you will find this option at the bottom of the site, if you are using mobile phone you will get this option at the bottom in a dialog box.
• Open the link of notification.
• Now register you self.
• Keep the login id password handy you will need it in future to download your call letter. 
• Fill in all the details.
• Read the instruction for the size of photo and signature carefully
• Payment is online so be careful while this step.

After submitting the application, keep note of the Registration No, as it is need at the time of checking the Results and to Download the SBI Clerk 2018 Admit Card
